Member/Deputy for General Services of BP Batam, Ariastuty Sirait reviewed the readiness of service units ahead of the Christmas and New Year Celebration 2025.
One of them, Ariastuty made a working visit to the Batam BP Hospital (RSBP) on Wednesday morning, (17/12/2025).
He wanted to ensure the readiness and anticipatory steps of the work unit in facing the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2026 period which is synonymous with increased mobility and public service needs, especially health services.
“This working visit was carried out as a follow-up to the verbal direction of the Head of BP Batam and Deputy Head of BP Batam to all levels of work unit leaders and employees within BP Batam, in order to increase preparedness and supervision during the peak period of the Christmas and New Year holidays, in order to keep Batam safe, orderly and conducive.” Ariastuty said.

During her visit, Ariastuty directly reviewed a number of strategic service areas, including the patient care room on the 5th floor, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room, and the polyclinic area.
He also had the opportunity to talk with patients, visitors, and officers, as well as see firsthand the condition of services and the readiness of facilities in the field.
The visit was then continued with a review of the new pharmacy room of RSBP Batam which began functioning since Monday, December 15, 2025.
The pharmacy rooms that were previously scattered in Building A and Building B, 1st floor, are now united and centralized in Lobby D of Building B, as part of efforts to improve service effectiveness, ease of access for patients, and efficiency of pharmaceutical service flow.
After the field inspection, Tuty led a coordination meeting in the Director’s room of RSBP Batam, attended by management, structural officials, and related staff.
A number of strategic and operational issues were discussed openly, both evaluation and appreciation of RSBP’s performance throughout 2025.

“Some of the things that we pay attention to are the limitations of medical personnel as the number of patient visits increases, the condition of air conditioners in several service areas that still need to be optimized, and the exploration of radiotherapy services which are currently still in the process of being realized.” She said.
On the other hand, he appreciated various achievements of RSBP Batam, especially the improvement of quality and consistency of social media management of RSBP Batam which is considered better, as well as a number of awards that have been achieved in recent times.
“I appreciate the performance in an achievement that has been achieved in 2025 we must maintain and continue to improve. In the future, it is important to strengthen the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) on an ongoing basis as part of improving the quality of service to patients and hospital visitors.” She said.
In closing, she emphasized to increase vigilance, maintain stability and smooth services during the year-end holiday period.
