The Batam Concession Agency (BP) made another proud achievement in the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Award held by the Central Information Commission (KIP).
BP Batam received the title of Informative Public Agency, Non-Structural Institution category with a score of 96.90. This is an increase from the previous year of 93.00 and 91.00 in 2023.
Representing the Head of BP Batam, the Informative Public Agency award was received by Member of Administration and Finance of BP Batam, Alexander Zulkarnain at Bidakara Hotel Jakarta, Monday (15/12/2025).
Alexander said that the Informative Public Agency award is a form of recognition for the transparency of information carried out by BP Batam. As not only the value continues to increase, but the rankings incised by BP Batam are also increasing every year.
“Hopefully next year BP Batam will become the most informative institution in Indonesia,” said Alexander Zulkarnain after receiving the award.
Alexander continued, every year BP Batam continues to make various innovations needed to improve the transparency of BP Batam information to the public.
“Both in terms of licensing, in terms of information requests and also other innovations related to public transparency,” he said.
The innovation, Alexander added, is a commitment from BP Batam in improving the quality of information that can be provided. Especially the information needed by every stakeholder.
“So that we will become a transparent organization and public trust in BP Batam will also continue to increase over time,” he concluded. (EI)
